1.3 Google API Data

If you choose to connect Google services through our platform, we access the following data via OAuth 2.0 with your explicit consent:

• Google Search Console (read-only access via webmasters.readonly scope): Search performance data including queries, clicks, impressions, click-through rates, and average position for your verified properties.
• Google Analytics 4 (read-only access via analytics.readonly scope): Website traffic data including sessions, users, bounce rates, landing pages, and traffic sources for your connected properties.
• Google Business Profile (via business.manage scope): Business listing information including business name, address, phone number, website, categories, and verification status.

1.4 Usage and Analytics Data

We automatically collect:

• Pages visited and features used within the platform
• Browser type, device information, and IP address
• Interaction events (clicks, navigation, feature usage)
• Performance and error data

1.5 Payment Information

When you subscribe to a paid plan, payment information (credit card numbers, billing addresses) is collected and processed directly by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers. We receive from Stripe: transaction confirmations, subscription status, plan type, and billing history.

1.6 Communications

If you contact us at support@usesearchos.com, we retain the content of your messages and our responses.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Process your subscription and manage your account
• Connect to third-party services (Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Business Profile) at your request
• Generate AI-powered SEO research, recommendations, and action plans for your clients
• Send transactional emails (task assignments, weekly digests, account notifications)
• Monitor platform performance and diagnose technical issues
• Enforce our Terms of Service and protect against misuse
• Respond to your support requests

3. Third-Party Services and Data Processors

4. Data Storage and Security

• All data is stored on servers hosted by Replit in the United States.
• Data is transmitted using TLS/HTTPS encryption.
• Authentication is managed through Clerk with industry-standard security practices.
• Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel.
• We implement Content Security Policy (CSP), HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), rate limiting, and other security headers to protect the platform.
• Google OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and are only used to access the specific Google services you have authorized.

5. Data Retention

• Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data is retained for 30 days to allow for reactivation, after which it is deleted.
• Client data you create within the platform is retained for the duration of your active subscription.
• Google API data is accessed in real-time when you use connected features. We cache performance data temporarily to improve loading times but do not permanently store raw Google API data beyond what is needed for the features you use.
• Analytics data is retained according to PostHog's retention policies.
• Payment records are retained as required by applicable tax and financial regulations.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data by logging into your account or contacting us
• Update your account information through your profile settings
• Delete your account and associated data by contacting us at support@usesearchos.com
• Export your client data by contacting us
• Revoke Google access at any time by disconnecting integrations within the platform or by revoking access in your Google Account permissions
• Opt out of analytics by using browser-based tracking prevention tools

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you may also have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to data portability, the right to restrict processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

7. Cookies and Tracking
